“I’ve never stayed in such a cool and modern hostel before! I was there about 2 or 3 years ago (shortly after it opened), so this review is a bit late, but the experience was so good that I still remember it clearly. The style is amazing and the comfort of the cabins with privacy curtains is a total game-changer. Everything was super clean and comfortable. The rooftop pool and bar are definitely the highlights, but I also liked the clean kitchen areas for heating up food. It’s great that you can choose between private rooms and these modern hostel boxes. I would love to see this chain in more cities—the quality is top-notch! Highly recommend and I’m finally sharing some photos from my stay. I’d love to visit another JOST location in the future!”

“Overall very good option. Clean rooms, I had a quiet experience in the 6 person dorm. I wish the bathrooms had more to offer, it was difficult to find space to change besides the sopping wet shower areas or the small toilet cubicle. They could also provide clearer directions to get to the entrance with the check information as I & another guest arriving at the same time got very turned around and Google maps was not helpful at showing the best way down the entrance which sits in a bit of a valley. At night this was difficult to navigate.”

“Excellent hostel! Very cute, in a quiet and beautiful location surrounded by a few restaurants, pharmacy, an eco store, nearby laundromat. In very close proximity to boulangeries, small grocer, tonnes of restaurants and cafes near the train station (which is very handy). Buses are just a few minutes away to easily get around the centre. The staff were helpful, but one particular young lady who worked of a Sunday evening during my stay, thank you for being so friendly and sweet!! Rooms were cosy and plenty of privacy but I don't think it's ideal for someone who is claustrophobic as you feel enclosed. Bathroom/ toilet facilities were great, clean. One of the showers I used has mould in the ceiling which should be looked into. The kitchen facilities were great. The mess left was from other hostel stayers which were very dirty so not the fault of the hotel. The facilities were cleaned daily and they had large lockers which was excellent. I would stay here again if I came back to Bordeaux”
